Apply to China Before Your Baccalaureate Results: A 2027 Guide

Updated 18 October 2026 · Redream team

Preparing for the Moroccan baccalaureate and considering China for 2027? You can research programmes, organise documents and check requirements before results day. Submitting an application without the final diploma, however, depends on the programme’s rules and the provisional evidence it accepts.

The answer in 30 seconds

Start preparing early. Some universities accept expected-graduation evidence, but this does not remove the final qualification requirement or guarantee admission or funding.

Can you apply before receiving your diploma?

Xiamen’s 2027 undergraduate guide accepts expected-graduation evidence and transcripts from final-year students, with the official diploma required before registration. Tsinghua’s FAQ, question 8, also describes a school-issued expected-graduation certificate for students graduating by August 2027.

These are specific examples, not a nationwide rule. Check the programme, intake and funding route. Acceptance of a provisional document does not automatically permit a late final diploma.

Enrolment confirmation or expected-graduation certificate?

A school enrolment letter may confirm that you currently attend school without stating when you expect to graduate. Ask your lycée for a document that matches the university’s instructions, including the required language, stamp and signature. Never alter an official certificate yourself or invent a result.

If the wording is unclear, ask: “I am a final-year secondary school student in Morocco. Do you accept a school letter stating my expected graduation date, and when must I provide my final baccalaureate certificate and transcript?” Keep the written response.

What can you prepare now?

  • A programme shortlist: compare subjects, teaching language and prerequisites against your school background.
  • Available documents: check passport spelling and collect readable transcripts.
  • Language evidence: identify accepted tests and when results will be available; do not assume a waiver.
  • Funding arrangements: discuss fees, payment timing and uncovered expenses with your family.
  • Application tracking: use an email account you check regularly and record deadlines, replies and missing documents.

Use our China application documents checklist as an organising aid. Adapt it to your programme and check timing before obtaining documents with limited validity.

A three-stage application plan

Before results day

Gather information and confirm the early-application rules. Set aside a regular administrative slot without compromising baccalaureate revision. Submit only when applications are open and the programme accepts your current qualification status.

After results are released

Check whether your grades meet the requirements, then send the diploma and transcript through the specified procedure. Some portals restrict changes after submission, so do not assume you can replace attachments at any time.

After a university decision

Check outstanding conditions, funding, housing and registration steps. Read our conditional admission guide before confirming an offer. An application number or receipt is not a final admission decision.

Fit tests around university deadlines

Record three separate dates: the application deadline, the test date and the deadline for receiving the score. Ask whether later submission is permitted. Programmes may require different subjects and assessment procedures.

If your programme requires CSCA, consult the announced CSCA dates and allow time for results. Preparing early helps only when your application still satisfies academic and timing requirements.

Avoid these planning mistakes

Do not wait for final grades to discover a language requirement. Equally, do not pay solely because someone promises a guaranteed place before the bac. Request a clear explanation of fees, refund conditions and the exact meaning of any offer.

If your graduation date changes or you do not meet the conditions, contact the university about actual alternatives. Deferral or a switch to a language programme is not automatic. Avoid non-refundable travel bookings based only on a pending application, and keep copies of every confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start a degree without obtaining the bac?

This guide concerns applying before the diploma is issued, not avoiding the final qualification required by the programme.

Does applying early guarantee funding?

No. Academic admission and scholarships remain subject to the relevant selection processes.

When should I send final results?

Follow the university’s stated deadline and submission channel, and retain proof of delivery.
