Tsinghua University admission 2027 is already relevant to Moroccan students preparing an international undergraduate application this autumn. As reviewed on 13 October 2026, the university’s first application round was open. Start with the exact programme, teaching language, required evidence and budget before submitting.
This independent Redream editorial guide concerns Tsinghua University in Beijing. It is neither an admission offer nor a statement of official representation. It covers international undergraduate applications; master’s and doctoral applicants follow separate routes.
What matters in October 2026
- The first round is open; deadlines use Beijing time.
- Choose the programme and teaching language before arranging evidence.
- Design and Fine Arts applicants must use the first round.
- Applying does not guarantee admission or scholarship funding.
Tsinghua University admission 2027: official dates
The official schedule lists two rounds. All times below are Beijing time:
- First round: 30 September 2026 at 08:00 to 20 November 2026 at 17:00.
- Second round: 21 November 2026 at 08:00 to 28 February 2027 at 17:00.
Check the time difference for the actual deadline date before converting it to Moroccan time. Set a personal reminder with enough margin to correct a file or solve an upload problem instead of relying on the final minutes.
Can you choose either application round?
Design and Fine Arts programmes are available only in the first round. The Tsinghua–Chinese University of Hong Kong dual undergraduate economics programme is available only in the second. Check the programme notice before relying on the general schedule.
Create a short programme record: official name, degree, teaching language, available round and instructions link. A university name alone is not a study plan. Identify what you would actually learn and how the curriculum connects with your goals after graduation.
English-taught and Chinese-English routes
The eligibility page does not require Chinese evidence for English-taught programmes, but non-native English speakers need English evidence. Chinese-English routes require HSK 5 or above, with scores above 60 in each listed skill, alongside strong English.
Check the programme for accepted tests and any specific thresholds. Previous education in French does not automatically establish English proficiency. An English translation of a programme name also does not establish that the entire degree is taught in English.
Separate your actual ability, the evidence accepted by the university and the time needed to obtain results. If a language document is missing, seek clarification before building your application around an assumed exemption.
Organising the application documents
The official document list includes graduation or expected-graduation evidence, transcripts, a CV, language results, personal statement, recommendations and financial sponsor documents. The system sends recommendation templates directly to referees. Where needed, a notarised Chinese or English translation accompanies the original document.
Divide the work into documents to obtain, writing to complete and items requiring another person’s action. Contact your school and referees early. Check that names and dates are consistent across your passport, certificates and transcripts, and keep the original documents.
A file filling an upload slot is not necessarily a usable file. Open each exported PDF and inspect page completeness, orientation, grades and stamps. Use clear filenames and follow the formats and size limits shown in the application system.
Application fees are separate from the full budget
The official fees page lists a non-refundable application fee of RMB 800. Tuition varies; some listed English-taught programmes cost RMB 100,000 annually. That is neither a universal tuition rate nor a complete living budget.
List application charges, tuition, housing, living costs, insurance, documents and travel separately. Do not deduct an anticipated scholarship before receiving a written decision stating its coverage. Keep original amounts in RMB; a dirham conversion requires the exchange rate applicable when paying.
What happens after submission?
The application procedure describes document screening followed by a comprehensive assessment for shortlisted applicants. Original materials and nationality status are checked. Some arts and architecture routes also require portfolio review; the university communicates the assessment arrangements.
Monitor your applicant account and email, including spam folders. Record the application number and status, and retain the submission confirmation. If a correction is requested, compare it with the instructions and keep the revised file consistent with the rest of your application.
A practical plan for the coming days
- Confirm the choice: a suitable main programme and realistic alternatives.
- Check eligibility: degree, languages, nationality and age in the applicable notice; ask admissions about special circumstances.
- Prioritise slow documents: translations, school certificates and items supplied by other people.
- Personalise your writing: explain programme fit using real examples from your education or projects.
- Review and submit: check data and files, then confirm successful submission before the deadline.
This is Redream’s suggested preparation method, not an additional university timetable. Time pressure is never a reason to invent a result, experience or language qualification.
Frequently asked questions
Can I apply while completing my baccalaureate?
The university FAQ provides for expected-graduation evidence for students graduating by August 2027, with the diploma obtained before registration. Check the evidence appropriate to your situation in the application system.
Is CSCA compulsory for every 2027 applicant?
Do not import another university’s rule. The eligibility page lists CSCA among several academic records, while the FAQ’s CSCA answer still refers to 2026. Confirm the 2027 rule for your route before selecting subjects or assuming an exemption.
Does an early application guarantee admission?
No. Applying early leaves time to resolve problems; it does not replace programme requirements or a strong application, and it does not guarantee scholarship funding.
What if Tsinghua does not fit my profile?
Compare other programmes that match your qualifications, languages and budget. The goal is a suitable course you can follow and complete, rather than relying on one institution’s name.
